Bassett Healthcare Cooperstown, NY 12 months 2 Student Physician Assistant Surgical Residency Program The physician assistant surgical residency is an intensive 13-month program administered by the department of surgery at Duke University Medical Center. PA surgical residents are members of the surgical team and are involved in preoperative, intra-operative, and postoperative patient care. University of Missouri Emergency Medicine PA Residency Columbia, MO 13 months 2 Students per Fall and Spring Class University of Missouri Health Care, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and the University of Missouri School of Medicine are offering an intense and rewarding post-graduate fellowship for Physician Assistants in Emergency Medicine. It serves as central Missouri’s only Level l trauma center and as a tertiary referral center for much of mid-Missouri. As part of an academic medical center, MU Health Care is host to many physician fellowships, fellowship programs, and other physician assistant fellowships. This program highlights rotations in Emergency Medicine at our level 1 trauma center and rural-based Emergency Department, ICU, medical wards, boot camp, SIM labs, and hands-on experience in procedural labs and in clinical practice under physician assistant and physician supervision.
