University of New Mexico School of Medicine Albuquerque, NM 18 months 2 Students Physician Assistant Residency in Emergency Medicine The University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Residency is an 18-month program that strives to equip physician assistants with the clinical experiences and didactic teaching that will enable them to practice high-quality, evidence based emergency medicine. Wake Forest University (Bowman Gray) Physician Assistant Program

The Physician Assistant Program at Wake Forest School of Medicine is a graduate level program that awards a Master of Medical Science (MMS) degree after 24 months of study. The Wake Forest PA Program is approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) for 64 students at our Winston-Salem campus and up to 32 students at our new expanded campus at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. Accreditation for the Boone cohort was granted in September 2013, and the first students will enroll in June 2014. The Boone campus has also been approved by SACSCOC.
