Desales University PA Program Mission Statement
The mission of the Physician Assistant program is consistent with the enduring Christian Humanistic traditions of DeSales University and seeks to graduate physician assistants who dedicate themselves to the patient as an individual. Physician assistant gradЊеuates will further the vision of Christian Humanism and Salesian tradition by: focusing on preventative health care and wellness; promoting competent and capable health care to patients of diverse populations in a variety of settings; emphasizing the patient holistically, i.e., considering the context of family, local community, and society in general; promoting life-long learning; supporting cultural diversity; and incorporating ethical principles into a patient-focused practice.
