The Brescia University Physician Assistant Program is dedicated to academic and moral excellence in a student-centered environment. Inspired by Caritas, the call to love, it prepares compassionate healthcare providers called to care for and heal the sick while meeting the diverse healthcare needs of Western Kentucky.

ℹ New Program — What Provisional Accreditation Means

ARC-PA granted this program Accreditation-Provisional in April 2026. Provisional status means ARC-PA has reviewed the plan and expects the program to meet the standards — it is not a warning, and students who graduate from a provisionally accredited program are eligible to sit for the PANCE. Because the first class has not graduated yet, there are no PANCE pass rates to report, and ARC-PA cited 1 area of noncompliance at the time of the initial review. The program’s next provisional-monitoring report to ARC-PA is due July 27, 2026. Check ARC-PA for the current status before you apply.

✔ What This Program Looks For in Applicants

Applicants are first scored against the stated requirements, then interviewed.

Applicants are first scored against the stated requirements, then interviewed. Preference points follow a tiered system: primary preference for Brescia University graduates; secondary for applicants with Brescia credit hours or residency in an eligible Kentucky county; tertiary for Kentucky Wesleyan graduates or applicants with credits from select community colleges. Ties are broken by the highest BCP (biology/chemistry/physics) GPA. The program does not admit international students and does not offer advanced placement.

💬 How This Program Interviews

Applicants invited to interview must successfully complete all interview stations, which are scored on interview score sheets. The program does not state whether these stations constitute a formal MMI, nor whether the interview is held on campus or virtually.
