Policies that can change your plan

Course completion
All prerequisites must be finished before matriculation; applicants with more than four outstanding prerequisites cannot be considered, and the CASPA application must include a completion plan.
Lab and grade policy
Required labs must be completed on campus, not online. Confirm the A&P series lab setup, since the number of separate labs is not specified. A C or better is required in each prerequisite. Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry labs are optional.
Course age
Human Anatomy and Physiology and Microbiology must be completed within ten years before anticipated enrollment.
Course credit
Credits for individual courses are not published on the PA admissions page. Confirm equivalency with Mercer before relying on a planned course.
AP and survey coursework
Survey courses do not fulfill prerequisites. The admissions page describes university AP credit for scores of 3 or higher, but confirm with Mercer whether AP is accepted for specific prerequisites.

Mercer decides whether a course satisfies each subject. Confirm credit amounts, on-campus labs, the two-course sequences, grades, course age, and writing/biostatistics equivalency. Saving a course in your plan is not admissions approval.

When courses must be complete: Finish all prerequisites before matriculation. No more than four may be outstanding for admission consideration; list a completion plan in CASPA.
