We are very proud to be part of the growing interest in Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) Residency Programs in the country and would like to share with you some of our program’s distinguished attributes. Our vibrant urban setting, affords us the opportunity to care for a diverse and challenging patient population presenting with various medical needs. Because Einstein houses a Level I Trauma Center, our residents frequently treat trauma patients with multiple and severe injuries while working closely with other disciplines including surgery and orthopedics. You will be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, management, selection of interventions, required procedures, and consistent evaluation of the patients progress towards goals. With highly competitive residency programs in all aspects of medicine, it is affiliated with one of the most prestigious medical schools in the nation, Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM). The Montefiore Post-Graduate Residency is a 12-month, full-time postgraduate residency program offering intensive training in obstetrics and gynecology. PA residents are trained alongside the OB/GYN physician residents and are exposed to the management of OB/GYN patients in a variety of settings and circumstances.
