The Physician Assistant program at USF’s Albuquerque Campus is a full-time, 27-month program. The program consists of 15 months of didactic classroom basic medical sciences, behavioral and social sciences, clinical preparatory sciences and professional practice issues. This is followed by 12 continuous months of supervised clinical learning experiences. Students must complete the entire 27-month program at the University of St. Francis. Johns Hopkins – Bayview Hospital Baltimore, MD 18 months 1 every 6 months Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Residency Program The Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Residency Program at Johns Hopkins Bayview allows PA residents the opportunity to train at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions for a career in emergency medicine. Residents are paid a stipend of $46,000 per year (a total of $69,000 for the entirety of the 18-month residency), and are provided life, AD&D, short-term disability and malpractice insurance.
