To educate physician assistants to provide comprehensive quality health care to all, to be respectful of patient values, to be committed to ethical principles and to be grounded in evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning. Graduates will contribute to the profession and their communities and be prepared to practice medicine in a variety of primary care settings under the supervision of physicians. Carolinas Healthcare System Charlotte, NC 12 months 28 per cohort, variable Post-Graduate Acute Care Fellowship Program The post-graduate acute care fellowship program allows both NPs and PAs to develop the knowledge base to perform procedures and life-saving interventions in various high acuity patient populations and situations.
