✔ What This Program Looks For in Applicants

Program-developed rubric scoring prerequisite GPA, cumulative undergraduate GPA, undergraduate science GPA, and total PCE hours; applicants placed in three score tiers and a percentage randomly selected from each tier for interviews.

Special consideration for U.S. Armed Services status and affiliated institutions (Widener, Penn State, University of Delaware). Holistic review also considers geographic residency (incl. Chester), community service, uniformed service, and alumni status.

Summarized from the program’s official admissions / selection-process pages. Always confirm current details on the program’s website.

💬 How This Program Interviews

Widener's PA program page states that Graduate Admissions randomly selects a portion of applicants from each review tier for interview invitations, which program faculty then conduct, but the page does not specify whether interviews are held virtually or on-campus.

Summarized from Widener University’s own admissions and interview pages — verified 2026-08-01. Interview formats and dates change between cycles, so confirm with the program before you make travel plans. See the program’s interview page.
