The Marshall University Physician Assistant Program is dedicated to providing high-quality medical education to develop a competent physician assistant workforce to meet needs in primary and specialty care. Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Colton, CA 12 months 6 Students The residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center will provide for resident physicians to achieve knowledge, skill and attitudes essential to primary health care for women within the scope of Obstetrics and Gynecology as designed by the American Osteopathic Association. This program will present a structured educational experience in continuity with undergraduate and continuing medical education, provide for increasing responsibility with formal instruction and critical evaluation, while integrating osteopathic principles and practice. Our program is an accredited four year training program. Residents accepted into the program receive an extensive education in women’s primary health care, obstetrics, gynecology, and related subspecialties. The Department and its faculty are highly committed to our residents’ education. Protected educational time is provided for lectures, workshops, conferences and Journal Clubs.

St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Ypsilanti, MI 12 months 1 Student Physician Assistant Residency Programs at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital-Ann Arbor (SJMH-AA) Two postgraduate residency programs are available for PAs interested in Cardiothoracic Surgery. The two tracks include: Cardiothoracic Surgery (CTPA) & Cardiothoracic Critical Care (CTCC). These residencies are offered by SJMH-AA in conjunction with IHA Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons. The program provides the graduate physician assistant with an opportunity to obtain advanced training in cardiothoracic surgery and critical care. Each residency program is a 12-month didactic and clinical training program for licensed, board-certified PAs who wish to specialize in the management of cardiothoracic surgery patients. It expands upon the basic training of the PA in diagnosis and management of conditions common to cardiothoracic surgery patients. Each residency has a unique focus depending on the applicants’ interests.
