The interview runs two to three hours and combines a one-to-one meeting with faculty, a class observation, a Q&A with current PA students, and multiple mini interviews. Roughly 14–20 students are interviewed per session, September through February, and the admissions office follows up with your status within three weeks. The program states a preference for Wingate graduates and Wingate PA Advantage participants.

- Human anatomy and physiology only; comparative, mammalian and invertebrate courses are not accepted. Don't pair a separate Anatomy course with A&P II.
The shared admissions policy covers both the Wingate and Hendersonville campuses (Two Campuses, One Program). Nine prerequisite courses are required, and the six science courses require a cumulative GPA of 3.2. All prerequisites must be within seven years of matriculation (2020 or later for the 2026–2027 cycle). Online courses and virtual labs are accepted, and sciences must be from accredited U.S. institutions. AP or transcripted advanced high-school college credit is accepted for General Psychology and Statistics. An instructor recency waiver is available for qualifying main instructors at accredited institutions within five years; documentation is required.
When courses must be complete: Pending courses must be registered for and completed by January 15, 2027 for the 2026–2027 cycle. Application may be held pending until final grades arrive.
