★ Straight From the Program — 2026 PAEA Virtual Admissions Fair
The admissions team framed patient-care experience around direct patient responsibility rather than job title — what you actually did with patients matters more than what the role was called — and noted that variety across experiences can help. For applicants strengthening a profile or reapplying, they pointed to added patient-care experience, PA shadowing across multiple settings, and strong letters of recommendation. Interviews may be virtual or on campus depending on the cycle. The program is intensive enough that working during it is not recommended.
