These prerequisites are effective for the class matriculating in January 2028 and must be finished by September before matriculation. Science courses must be designated for science majors and completed within 10 years of matriculation. Community college courses must be general-level, not introductory-level. AP credit, credit by exam and pass/fail courses do not count except AP for English. Coursework from another PA program, other healthcare programs, graduate coursework, continuing education and foreign credits without U.S. equivalency do not count.
When courses must be complete: Hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution before matriculation and finish all prerequisites by September before the January start.
