The Lincoln Memorial University Chattanooga PA program is not accredited. LMU states that the program “has applied for Accreditation - Provisional from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)”, and it appears on ARC-PA’s Applicant Programs list rather than the accredited-programs directory. It is a separate program from LMU’s accredited Harrogate and Knoxville programs.
LMU anticipates matriculating the first Chattanooga class in January 2027, pending Accreditation-Provisional at the October 2026 ARC-PA meeting. The program states that if that status is not granted it will not commence, applicants will be notified in writing, and any tuition and fees paid will be refunded in full within 30 days.
