Our Residency in Emergency Medicine is one of a few Emergency Medicine PA residencies offered in the nation and the first residency for Physician Assistants at New York Presbyterian Hospital. We are a tertiary care center, approved for Trauma, Cardiac, Burn and Stroke care and treat over 80,000 Emergency Department patients annually. Our department includes Emergency Medicine specialty services such as Toxicology, Wilderness Medicine, Geriatric Emergency Medicine, EM Ultrasound and a Global Emergency Medicine program. Our faculty and residents conduct clinical research, sit on several national committees, publish numerous articles and chapters, and present at national conferences.
