Carolina Healthcare System Charlotte, NC 12 months 28 per cohort, variable Center for Advanced Practice Fellowship The Advanced Clinical Practitioner fellowship at Carolinas HealthCare System provides exposure to an array of complex disease processes and patient populations in acute, primary and urgent care settings. With focus on developed competence and confidence, this transition-to-practice program prepares the advanced clinical practitioner (ACP) to deliver superior patient care while in a protected learning environment. Mercer-Piedmont Heart Atlanta, GA 12 months 2 students About the Program The Mercer-Piedmont Heart Physician Assistant Post-Graduate Residency in Advanced Cardiology is a collaborative effort between the Mercer University Physician Assistant Program and Piedmont Heart. Residents will participate in the admission and consultation of cardiac patients to the intensive care units. Responsibilities will include rounding on nights, weekdays, and weekends. Residents will rotate through cardiac subspecialties including, but not limited to, general and interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure, and cardiothoracic surgery.
