University of Florida Gainesville, FL 12 months 4 Students Program Information The PA Surgical Residency Program is an intensive 12-month program, available to four residents per year, administered by the UF department of surgery. Clinical duties are performed at UF Health Shands Hospital. The residency is an intensive 12 month training program and takes 2-3 PAs per year. We have been preparing PAs for a career in Neonatology since 2005, and 100% of our graduates have been employed in a NICU upon completion of the program.
