Regions Hospital St. Paul, MN 18 months 2 Students Welcome PA Resident Class of 2017 Welcome to the Regions Hospital Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (EM PA) Residency. We are excited to offer the first EM PA residency program in Minnesota with the inaugural class in 2012. We are fortunate to be able to collaborate with a well established and highly competitive physician emergency medicine residency, which was established in 1996. Regions Hospital is a Level I Trauma and Burn Center and is the state’s first Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. The emergency medicine faculty are affiliated with the University of Minnesota and provide training for emergency medicine residents, rotating residents, and medical students. The PA staff provide training for PA students. The PA residents work alongside physician residents, study the core curriculum, and participate in weekly conferences in addition to their clinical rotation schedule. We offer 10 weeks of critical care training with opportunities for procedural experience during these rotations, during outreach hospital and rural hospital rotations, as well as simulation training. Perlman NP/PA Fellowship in Emergency Medicine NorthShore University HealthSystem, in conjunction with Loyola University and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, is recruiting for a 1-year, post graduate, advanced practice fellowship program for NPs and PAs in emergency medicine. This intensive program offers advanced training in hands-on clinical care through the use traditional teaching methods, but also the use of our innovative simulation center and cutting edge informatics. Along with emergency medicine, the program places an emphasis on multi-disciplinary learning and communication. All fellows will work under the direct mentorship of national leaders in emergency medicine and simulation-based education. DMC Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Warren, MI 12 months 2 Students DMC Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine PA Fellowship The Physician Assistant fellowship program is a 12 month didactic and clinical training program that will both model and compliment our current orthopaedics fellowship, primary care fellowship, and surgical residency programs established at the Detroit Medical Group. The fellow will have access to a wide variety of physicians during his or her training as well as state of the art equipment and resources. Our multi-specialty orthopaedics group consists of 18 attending physicians, comprised of surgeons and primary care sports medicine doctors, as well as 4 physician assistants.
