CUNY York College PA Program Mission Statement

The York College Physician Assistant program seeks to recruit and educate students from the diverse surrounding communities to become highly competent, compassionate, and culturally aware providers of excellent medical care to underserved urban areas. Incorporated in our mission is a priority on increasing access to medical professional education for racial and ethnic minorities, financially disadvantaged students, and first-generation college graduates. Our program is committed to providing strong supports so that we may also expect high performance from our students.

Carolinas Healthcare System Center Charlotte, NC 12 months 28 students Post-Graduate Acute Care Fellowship Program The post-graduate acute care fellowship program allows both NPs and PAs to develop the knowledge base to perform procedures and life-saving interventions in various high acuity patient populations and situations. We are very proud to be part of the growing interest in Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) Residency Programs in the country and would like to share with you some of our program’s distinguished attributes. Our vibrant urban setting, affords us the opportunity to care for a diverse and challenging patient population presenting with various medical needs. Because Einstein houses a Level I Trauma Center, our residents frequently treat trauma patients with multiple and severe injuries while working closely with other disciplines including surgery and orthopedics. Some of the many resources available while working in the emergency department include: advanced airway management equipment, comprehensive emergency ultrasound, and active cardiac catheterization lab, and a dedicated radiology suite with a dedicated CT scanner.
